FROM BANJOBOY RECORDS
& THE CHIAPETZ RECORDING STUDIO
Once I saw a balloon man begging people to pop him.
They did.
He would then re-assemble and harass them into doing it again.
What have you seen?

MAY 2009 THROUGH JUNE 2009 The MY MOVIE CD is now out! It will be in the stores by late June/early July. This is the CD Ned plans to support with more live shows later in the year. He has to take care of some minor medical shtuff and then he will get back to performing live dates. Stay tuned! Ned took the time to see The Truckstop Cobras and photograph the Grand Rapids Songwriters Alliance performances at Festival 09 in early June. He will start on his 9th CD, The Flight Of The Burnt Out Deer, in July.
JULY 2008 THROUGH APRIL 2009 Ned took time off from his own music and worked on improvements to Sara's and his new home. Before he returned to his own music, Ned worked on projects for a folk artist, a jazz artist, and then a death metal band, at the new Chiapetz studio. Once their projects were out of the way, completion and final mixing was done on all of Ned's songs for the, My Movie CD! We anticipate a 2009 release! He is also working on a new webpage to support his new CD. Back in November, Ned became a Grandpa for the 7th time with the birth of Grandson, Dante. He's a cute little Goober!
MAY & JUNE 2008 These were busy months for Ned. He gathered information and photos for his new web-page, Who the Hell am I? What made me this way? This new addition focuses on Ned's personal history, and well-known or interesting relatives. He says in many cases it is 2 degrees of separation, not 6! Ned finally recorded the song, Arasrofgnosa, a beautiful song he wrote for his wife in 1972. A lot of time was spent talking to his many MySpace musicians and friends. He had to take a little time off due to coming down with walking pneumonia. Sara and he were able to get out though, and watch the Archive band at their packed show in Caledonia. He has maintained contact with his friend, Lucy Ernst, and is planning to catch one of her up-coming shows, ASAP!
MARCH & APRIL 2008 March was a month of finishing up work on the studio and a couple of new songs. By late April Ned recorded the new song, My Movie. It is the first song recorded in the new home of the updated Chiapetz studio. It is a soft and moody piece. He is excited to finally be recording again! He has put a lot of time into updating this website and his MySpace. There is a new area that you should check out here. It is called, Radical Home Makeover! Just click on the button at the bottom of this page.
FEBRUARY 2008 This month was set aside to address issues and make updates to the Banjowheat/MySpace websites. Ned’s 8th CD will start production in the next couple of months. It will be called, My Movie. The songs are: My Movie, Arasrofgnosa, Cracks, Sanderson McMurphy, Developing Story, Inattention, With Charcoal In Hand, Sometimes I Feel, The Blissfully Dumb There In Washington, The Observations Of Mr. Cordoba, A Fisher Of Men, Reflection And Release and Part 8 of Dr. Rococoa.
JANUARY 2008 The Rouse's began the task of moving their home and recording studio to a new location on January 12th. It took three 26-foot truckloads and 2 days to get it all there. They were really organized beforehand which proved to be a blessing in the 2/3-week task of unpacking and setting up everything. They have known other people who have moved and years later still hadn’t unpacked everything. The studio was well marked and re-assembling went well. The wires are better run, marked and organized. Music will flow as the dust begins to settle.
