Each day I am filming
I’m making a movie
With great care I act out
At the end of the day I read my reviews
They put a star and a lock on my dressing room door
My best work was left on the cutting room floor
Each day rehearsing
Storyboarding my movie
Edits turn into art
I took my work with me when I went home
Characters merged when I walked through the door
I became them. I was not me anymore in my Movie.
Quiet on the set. Let’s roll! Keep Rolling!
You say that you knew me
An extra in my movie
I don’t know who you are
Maybe you were the star
A strong story, with a plot full of holes
We’ll always be identified by our roles.
